Korean Energy Delegation Explores Battery Innovation in Berlin

A Korean energy delegation visited Berlin ahead of the 8th Korean-German Energy Day, meeting with the Berlin-Brandenburg Battery Lab (BBL), Agora Energiewende, and ECFR to discuss battery innovation and European supply chains.

Oliver Hasse introduced BBL's role in advancing sustainable battery technologies, Winni Schwedland presented its scientific roadmap for sodium-ion and lithium-sulfur batteries, and Alexander Lipke highlighted the strategic importance of Korean-German cooperation in strengthening the battery sector through closer scientific, industrial, and policy collaboration.
