Presentation (Oral and Poster) at the International Symposium on Beyond Lithium-Ion Batteries 2026 (BeLi26), Zürich

We participated in the International Symposium on Beyond Lithium-Ion Batteries 2026 (BeLi26), organized by ETH Zürich and Paul Scherrer Institute (PSI) in Zürich, Switzerland, from June 28 to July 3. Prof. Philipp Adelhelm delivered a KEYNOTE lecture covering several emerging directions in battery research, including pulse charging, anode-free batteries, and co-intercalation chemistry. Dr. Sebastian Risse also gave an invited talk introducing newly developed operando characterization techniques for multilayer pouch cells. In addition, Dr. Wei He presented a poster of his latest research on solid-state sodium-sulfur batteries, supported by the NaSeFest project. Their presentations sparked lively discussions with researchers from both academia and industry, showcasing the Adelhelm group's latest advances and approaches to addressing key challenges in next-generation energy storage.
